General

Basics & technology.

“Solar systems” is an umbrella term for technical systems that absorb and convert the energy of sunlight. Photovoltaic systems (PV systems) are solar systems that convert the absorbed light energy into electrical energy. WER Gruppe specialises in tailor-made PV systems.
A PV system consists of several key components: PV modules capture sunlight and convert it into direct current. The inverter converts the direct current into usable alternating current. An optional battery stores surplus energy for later use. A solid mounting system ensures safe installation on roof or ground.
A battery is worthwhile to use as much of your cheap solar power yourself as possible — even when the sun isn’t shining. This makes you more independent from grid power and reaches a self-sufficiency level of up to 80 %. A PV system also works without storage; surplus power is then fed into the public grid.
Self-consumption describes the share of self-generated electricity you use yourself. Important: self-consumption is not the same as self-sufficiency — self-sufficiency measures how independent you are from the grid. If you generate more than you consume, the surplus goes into storage or the grid.
PV modules: 30-year warranty for long-term, reliable energy generation. Inverters: 10-year warranty. Battery storage: 10-year warranty. Our warranties give you the security you need for your investment in renewable energy.

Private households

For your home.

Yes, a PV system pays off in most cases. Profitability depends on factors such as system size, the orientation of your roof, energy consumption and local sun conditions. We advise you individually. Through lower energy costs and possible subsidies, a PV system is economically attractive — and an important contribution to the energy transition.
At WER Gruppe we shape the energy transition holistically. We not only offer high-quality PV systems but accompany you through the entire process — from consultation to installation, all from one source.
Costs vary depending on size, output and individual requirements. WER Gruppe offers tailor-made solutions and transparent cost structures. Besides the purchase cost, you should consider possible subsidies and savings on energy costs. Our experts calculate the costs precisely and show you the long-term economic benefits.
The size is highly individual and depends on your electricity consumption, roof area and regional solar irradiation. Our planners develop a tailor-made solution. As a rough guideline: annual electricity consumption can be multiplied by a factor of about 1.2.
We guarantee fast delivery and installation within 8 weeks of signing the contract. So you benefit from your sustainable energy supply quickly.
Business

For your company.

A commercial PV system offers many benefits: generate your own power and save costs long-term, full feed-in to the grid or — for systems from 100 kWp — trading on the power market. Our energy consultants develop a tailor-made solution and discuss all aspects with you.
Commercial PV systems enable your own power production and significant cost savings over time. They also strengthen your company’s sustainable image.
Investment costs and payback times vary by system size and location. As a rule, however, commercial PV systems pay for themselves within a few years and offer long-term savings.
Surplus power can be fed into the public grid and offers the chance of feed-in remuneration. This is tiered: systems up to 10 kW: 8.2 ct/kWh · up to 40 kW: 7.1 ct/kWh · up to 100 kW: 5.8 ct/kWh. Systems above 100 kW are traded on the exchange and bring at least 9.2 ct/kWh with full feed-in.
A PV system for business brings ecological and financial benefits. You can profit from various tax incentives, including the option of accounting for the PV system with special depreciation of up to 40 %.
