In this project in Extertal, an outdated heating system was replaced by a highly efficient air-to-water heat pump with 12.14 kW of heat output and an 8.6 kW immersion heater. The goal: make the house independent of fossil fuels and bring heating costs down for good.

Another successful retrofit delivered from a single source: by moving from an ageing oil boiler to the highly efficient Vaillant aroTHERM plus air-to-water heat pump, this detached house now heats with low emissions, whisper-quiet operation and lower running costs — including removal of the old system, precise hydraulics and cylinder technology, smart app control and full support with the KfW subsidy.
